Welcome! This list may be thorough and long, but it is helpful, so please take a moment to read through it entirely. If the bride or groom get asked any of these questions directly, you owe us each $10 and a drink outside of the wedding! If you ask us questions that are not on the list, you get a gold star!

Sunday, 10/11
Monday, 10/12
Monday, October 12, 2026 (yes, on a Monday) 4:00PM – 11:00PM
Both the ceremony and reception will take place at The Ruins — 570 Roy St, Seattle, WA 98109
Monday, September 7th, 2026
Guests may start arriving at 4PM. The Ceremony will begin at 5PM. There will be a pre-cocktail hour with appetizers, drinks and activities to entertain yourself. The bride and groom will already be partying, so we would love for you to join!
Guests need to exit the venue at 11:00PM. If you would like to volunteer to assist with strike and teardown, please contact the bride and groom.
Know that the ceremony room only seats about 115-120, but there is standing room available. We are inviting more than the seating limit because we just want so many of you there! But that does mean if you want to guarantee that you get a seat, show up earlier! The ceremony won’t be long, we promise.
The dress code is “Dress in Your Authentic Best”. We want you feeling like a million bucks. Wear the outfit you’ve always wanted to, but never had the occasion. There will never be a better time than now! This does include costumes, which are highly encouraged.
The ceremony room has a very delicate cream color scheme, while the ballroom has rich midnight blue hues, so be the pop of color in the room!
The venue is entirely covered and indoors, so there shouldn’t be concerns about being cold, however there technically is a covered courtyard area that is exposed to open windows within the building should you desire fresh air.
Yes, but no seating chart or sit-down dinner plans! We will be providing a series of appetizers, small bites, and chef-ran action stations throughout the course of the evening. There will be a small cake and a selection of desserts. Options for gluten free and vegetarian will be available.
Duh. Last call is at 10:30PM so drink up! And please plan accordingly (see hotel information above).
You may request songs during the event, but in order to increase your chance of them having access to your song, we encourage you to submit song requests ahead of time on our Song Requests form of the website.
If you have been directly invited, you have a plus one.
There is a paid parking lot directly across the street from the venue and ample street parking surrounding the venue. Double check the Seattle Parking Map as hours may have changed by the time the wedding date arrives, but there should be free parking available nearby.
The venue is right off of Aurora Ave, so there are several bus routes that drop within walking distance.
We have a block of rooms set aside at the FourPoints by Sheraton across the street, but there are plenty of other hotels in the surrounding area as well. You can call the Sheraton and ask for the Yarritu-Rakonza wedding block or use this link: Reserve at the Sheraton
Yes! Please see the Weekend Timeline.
Post wedding there will be a family brunch and then a friends decompression day at an Airbnb in Seattle.
Yes, we have formed multiple cash fund registries for you to help sponsor our next adventures! See the Registry.
No! I can’t believe you even asked!
We would like to ask that you refrain from taking photos during the wedding ceremony. There will be multiple photographers there who will take better pictures than you anyways, and we would love it if you were present with us as we share this special day.
As much as we love you all, we would like to highly encourage you to practice the art of Chelsea’s Irish heritage — the Irish Goodbye. Please feel free to dip out of the reception at any point without stopping us to say farewell.
